Utilising natural materials to create luxurious braids

Helen is a designer and weaver of bespoke lengths of braid and exquisite trims.

Working from her home in Shropshire, with a passion for natural materials, Helen works on a bespoke basis responding to client requests and colour schemes.

Combining traditional craft with contemporary design Helen creates innovative textiles that adorn Interiors and design schemes around the world.

From the age of 16 Helen knew she wanted to weave and has always loved working with and wearing natural materials.

Following Helen's MA from the University of Manchester she spent time designing and weaving at a silk mill in Bangalore, India, and it was from this point that her work really started to use fine silks and encompass luxurious yarns to contrast textures and explore quality of materials to create innovative textiles.
